Each week Eleanor has a chance to share something unique in "show & tell." Usually her Kindergarten teacher gives a suggested topic. This week was bring something that represents your parent's occupation. Today, Ms. Nelson sent home some of the responses.
"What does your parent do for a job?" "And what does that mean?" (the mouths of babes)
- my Dad buys companies "he rides his bike to work"
-a Math Doctor "he's angry when he gets home"
-a Skin Doctor "she works next to her diet place"
-Architect "he built our house. it is green"
-Patent Lawyer "my mom saved the 'light-up' shoe"
-Architect "he wears a hat in case a rock falls on his head"
-Financial Analyst "he gets bones because they really like him"
-Lawyer "helps businesses get out of trouble"
-Pastor (guess who??) "leads a church with another pastor"
-Makes phone calls and lots of money "sometimes he just stays home"
-Works for 'Re-scover' Card "makes cards for people to spend money"
- a Doctor for other mommies "my mom makes the babies"
-Seller "I don't know what but he makes it and sells it"
